Volleyball league and tournament software
Record set scores, let set difference sort the table, and fit every round into the two hall evenings a week you actually have.
Record sets, not rally points
A volleyball result is 3–1. The 25–22, 23–25, 25–19, 25–17 behind it never reaches the league table. Two teams level on points are separated by their set balance, so the set score is the only number the table needs.
In Tornia you enter each match as its set score: 3–0, 3–1, 3–2. The table then treats sets the way a football table treats goals: competition points first, then set difference, then sets won. Three points for a win, nil for a loss is the default; change it per competition.
Two evenings a week, one hall, three other clubs
Recreational volleyball in Belgium runs on municipal sports halls, and a hall is never yours alone. You are not scheduling a season so much as the Monday 20:00 and Wednesday 21:00 slots the town gives you. Add each court in the hall as a named field, generate the schedule from your start date, those weekdays and those start times, and matches are dealt across the courts you list. Two courts in parallel give you a real running order for the evening.
Formats that fit
- League, home and away. A double round-robin across the season. The standard.
- Pools into a knockout. Sixteen teams in four pools of four is six matchdays instead of thirty.
- One-day tournament. Short pools, finals at the end of the day. Common for beach and youth events.
Each pool is its own competition inside the season, with its own schedule and table. Teams register once. Mixed, ladies' and men's series live side by side in one season.
Who enters the score
You choose who may submit a result and whose word is final. Under team-admin authority a score stays pending until an admin of the opposing team confirms it, which is what stops a disputed 3–2 from standing unchallenged. On approval the table recalculates.
